The Altar Guild
rolled 304 dozen ravioli on Sunday January 20 with the help of many
volunteers!
Thank you!
Rolling ravioli has long
been a tradition at Our Lady of Sorrows. The Altar Guild rolls ravioli two
or three times a year. The ravioli rolled in the summer is donated to
Eaglefest to provide the wonderful dinner served. Cheese ravioli is made
for Lent and the delicious meat ravioli is always a favorite during
Christmas and Easter. Money raised from the sale of the ravioli goes to
keep the church clean, beautiful and provide any other needs for Our Lady of
Sorrows Church.
To continue this tradition,
they need more people to become involved. This is a perfect ministry for
those who want to be involved in a ministry but don’t have the time to
attend many meetings.
There are many areas to
help: Setting up the cafeteria, crimping the ravioli, carrying trays to the
different areas and cleaning up afterward. There is also a good opportunity
for fellowship.
Please join us for the roll
to see if this is the ministry for you! If you are in need of babysitting,
please contact Sharon O’Brien at 357-7078.
